Novagum produces installations for the centrifugal casting generally constituted by a three machines consisting of: vulcanizer to prepare the moulds, melting furnace and centrifuge for the injection of the metal.

Vulcanizzer

MOLD VULCANIZATION Vulcanization is a rubber processing technique during which rubber is chemically bound through heating at controlled temperature and pressure. Molds are vulcanized inside the molding frames that are pressed against the heated decks of the vulcanizer. This process enables to quickly produce molds at affordable prices in elastic and non-swelling materials that are suitable for the centrifugal casting of zinc and tin alloys. Novagum Srl offers a wide range of vulcanizers for rubber molds. Our portfolio is described in detail in the following pages.

Automatic electric or gas furnaces

Automatic electric or gas furnaces   These furnaces are designed to be used during metal casting processes. All models feature electric resistances or a gas burner, if required, to increase the ambient temperature of the metal to the temperature required for centrifugal casting. Novagum Srl offers a wide range of casting machines for metal alloys (zinc and tin alloys). Our portfolio of electric, methane gas or LP gas furnaces is described in detail below.

Electronics centrifuges

The centrifuges are the machines designed to inject the metal into the mould while it is rotating. The centrifugal force produced by the rotation helps to fill the die by pushing the cast material against the internal wall of the mould. After the material has solidified, the mould is opened so that the part can be removed. End-products can either be semi-finished products that require an additional superficial treatment or finished products. Novagum provides a wide range of centrifugal casting machines.

Complementary machines

The cooling of molds involves a more rapid time-matic riutilizztra of the mold itself, a higher productivity and a longer life of the mold, reducing the exposure time to high temperatures.

Spin casting equipement for centrifugal casting

The SPIN CASTING plant for centrifugal casting is a medium to large productivity manually operated line for centrifugal casting. It is recommended for manufacturing parts with medium size: accessories for the shoe and leather industry, promotional items, imitation jewellery, buckles, medals and plates, key fobs, souvenirs, small pieces of metal or resin. The “SPIN CASTING” plant for centrifugal casting consists of an automatic vulcanizing press (P400 SC) with heated plates, an electronic single-station centrifugal casting machine (CS400 SC) and an automatic electric or gas heated furnace (F100 SC).
